Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications from recognized institutions:

• For Graduate Apprentice (Technical): Full-time regular four-year Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronic & Communication, Electronic & Instrumentation, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• For Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): Regular three-year degree in B.Com, BA, B.Sc, BBA, or BCA from a recognized university.
• For Diploma Apprentice (Technical): Full-time regular three-year Diploma in Engineering in Electronic & Communication, Electronic & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Material Management.
• Year of Passing: Candidates must have passed their degree or diploma in the year 2021 or later.
• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible. Preference may be given to candidates with domicile of Delhi or NCR area.

Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training, have job experience of one year or more after qualification, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere are not eligible.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 27 years as on 24 November 2025. Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India rules for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, and other reserved categories. Application Fee

Selection Process

The selection for AAI RCDU Apprentice positions involves a two-stage process:

Stage 1: Walk-in Interview-cum-Document Verification

The venue is the AAI RCDU Training Centre, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi. Candidates must bring original documents and one set of photocopies for verification. Provisional selection will be merit-based, and the decision of AAI will be final.

Stage 2: Medical Fitness Certificate

Final selection is contingent upon the submission of a valid Medical Fitness Certificate obtained from a Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at the time of joining. Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of all certificates.
