Note: Age will be calculated as on the date of interview (30 May 2026). Candidates arriving after 11:30 AM may not be entertained.

Vacancy Details

A total of 27 posts are available across 11 departments. Additionally, 5 seats are horizontally reserved for PwBD candidates. The CMFM post is for 11 months only; all other posts are for up to 3 years.

Trauma & Emergency: Candidates with MD/MS/DNB in Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, or Orthopaedics are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian Nationals.

Educational Qualification

Important: Only candidates who have been declared successful in their qualifying degree exam and will be completing their tenure before the date of interview are eligible. Candidates should not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency (regular or ad-hoc/contract) in any Govt. medical institution.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 45 years as on date of interview (30 May 2026)
• OBC: 3 years relaxation (upper age: 48 years)
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (upper age: 50 years)
• PwBD (General): 10 years relaxation
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years relaxation
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years relaxation

Age relaxation is not available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.

Application Fee

Fee must be paid via NEFT only to the account below. The transaction reference number and date of transaction must be mentioned in the application form.

Note: Application fee is non-refundable in all cases.

Selection Process

• Selection is based on Walk-in Interview held at AIIMS Gorakhpur.
• If a large number of applications are received, a written test may be conducted for shortlisting before the interview.
• The decision of the Executive Director, AIIMS Gorakhpur regarding selection shall be final and binding.
• Names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the official website — no individual intimation will be sent.

How to Apply

1. Download the Application Form (Annexure I) and Bio-Data Form (Annexure II) from the official website aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in.
2. Fill in the application form completely in block letters and affix a recent passport-size photograph (self-attested).
3. Pay the application fee via NEFT and note the transaction ID and date in the form.
4. Prepare self-attested photocopies of all required documents (degree certificates, mark sheets, age proof, caste certificate, registration certificate, etc.).
5. Candidates applying for more than one department must submit separate applications with separate fee for each post.
6. Report in person at the Administrative Block, AIIMS Campus, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur between 09:30 AM and 11:30 AM on 30 May 2026 with filled application, bio-data, originals + self-attested copies of all documents, and fee payment receipt.
7. Candidates currently in Central/State/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institution service must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

Salary

Note: The appointee is not entitled to PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance, Seniority, Promotion, or other benefits available to regular Government employees.

Important Instructions

• OBC candidates must produce a valid NCL-OBC certificate issued between 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Certificates issued before this period will not be accepted.
• OBC certificate must clearly indicate that the applicant does not belong to the Creamy Layer and must be in the format prescribed by DoP&T OM No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res.) dated 30.05.2014.
• EWS candidates must submit an Income and Assets Certificate in the prescribed format from a competent authority.
• The appointment is on a whole-time basis — private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited during the contract period.
• If an appointee wishes to apply elsewhere or resign within the first 3 months, no NOC, Relieving Letter, or Experience Certificate will be issued.
• All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Law at Gorakhpur.
