Candidates must possess either a BE/B.Tech degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (E&I). Alternatively, candidates with an M.E/M.Tech degree in Medical Electronics or Biomedical Engineering are also eligible. All candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying degree and must have passed either the NET or GATE examination.
