A total of 1,523 vacancies have been announced across 19 state universities in Andhra Pradesh. Out of these, 1,244 are regular vacancies and 279 are backlog vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates from different academic backgrounds can apply depending on the post. The eligibility varies post-wise as per university and UGC/AICTE norms.

• Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks and UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/APSET/APSLET, or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. in relevant discipline, Master’s degree with 55% marks, minimum 8 years teaching/research experience, 7 publications, and research score of 75.
• Professor: Ph.D. in relevant discipline, minimum 10 years teaching/research experience, 10 research publications, and research score of 120.
• Lecturer (RGUKT): Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.
• Assistant Librarian: Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with 55% marks and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: 44 Years
• SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 Years Relaxation
• PwBD: 10 Years Relaxation
