  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture – 4 years (8 semesters) – Offered only at Mohanpur Campus, Nadia.

Total seats: 318 (262 for Agriculture + 45 for Horticulture, including ICAR and EWS quotas).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Board Essential Qualification
WBCHSE & Other Boards (CBSE, ICSE, etc.) Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Minimum 65% marks in aggregate (General/OBC/EWS/Sports) and 55% for SC/ST/PwD.
WBSCVE&T (Vocational stream) Passed 10+2 with English, Biology, Physics/Chemistry and two vocational subjects (FVPR/FRGR/VGGR/PNMP/SMAG/CRNM/SPPR/JPE/FMOP/FCPR). Minimum 65% aggregate (General) and 55% (SC/ST/PwD).

Note: ICAR quota candidates are exempted from the above percentage criteria.

Age Limit

Candidates must be not less than 16 years as on 31.08.2026 (as per ICAR guideline).

Selection Process

Selection for BCKV UG Admission 2026 will be based on merit in the qualifying examination (10+2 marks). 20% of seats (ICAR quota) are filled through CUET (ICAR-UG)-2026. The university will publish a provisional merit list followed by provisional admission and physical verification of documents.
