Post Details – Assistant Engineer (Grade-I) – Tooling

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time First-Class Diploma (minimum 60% aggregate) in any of the following: Tool Engineering, Tool, Die & Mould Making, Tool & Die Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Tool Design, Industrial Tool Manufacturing, or Tool and Die Manufacturing from a recognized institution. SC/ST and PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation (minimum 55%).

Experience

Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in Tool Engineering in Auto, Rail, Aerospace, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing industry. Only experience after obtaining the required diploma is counted.

Desirable Skills

Hands-on experience in manufacturing and troubleshooting; proficiency in CATIA, Pro-E, SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD; familiarity with GD&T, material specifications, and tolerancing.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 39 years as on the walk-in interview date (3rd May 2026). Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years (44 years), OBC-NCL: 3 years (42 years), PwD: additional 10 years over applicable category relaxation.
