BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled: New Exam Date Soon

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially cancelled the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) Recruitment Examination 2026, which was conducted from 14 to 21 April 2026. The decision follows reports of malpractice at several examination centers, including the use of Bluetooth devices and other electronic gadgets by some candidates. Strict monitoring and alertness of district administration led to the detection of these unfair practices.

BPSC has taken stringent action against those involved, including filing FIRs and debarring 32 candidates from future examinations. The Commission maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating. Notably, no evidence of a question paper leak was found during the investigation. However, due to concerns raised through newspapers and social media regarding exam integrity, the entire AEDO examination across all 9 shifts has been cancelled to ensure transparency and fairness for genuine candidates.

In addition, BPSC has also cancelled the Assistant Public Sanitation and Waste Management Officer Exam held on 23 April 2026 under Advertisement No. 108/2025. New exam dates will be announced soon on the official website.
