Eligibility Criteria

Project Scientist

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or E-Waste Resource Engineering & Management. Alternatively, a Doctoral Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Physics is acceptable. Those with a Master's degree require three years of research experience in recycling, metallurgical, or chemical plants, or R&D institutions.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applicants should have an M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science, or a B.Tech/BE in Metallurgy, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering. Desirable qualifications include two years of hands-on experience in E-Waste recycling, materials processing, or characterization. Alternatively, an M.Tech/M.E. in relevant fields with two years of research experience in e-waste recycling, extractive metallurgy, or process automation is preferred.

Technical Assistant

A B.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry, or a Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is required. Two years of experience in research and development is desirable for this position.

Technical Support Staff

Candidates must have completed ITI in Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechanical, or Fitter trades. Two years of experience in chemical or metallurgical plants is considered advantageous.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the Project Scientist position is 37 years. For Junior Research Fellow, Technical Assistant, and Technical Support Staff positions, the maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories: OBC candidates receive 3 years, while SC/ST candidates receive 5 years of relaxation.

Technical Assistant: ₹20,000 per month plus 30% HRA (total ₹26,000) and one month's basic pay towards medical expenses.
