CESCOM Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Overview

Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC), Mysore, under the Government of Karnataka, has released the Apprentice Training Notification 2026 for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. Online applications are invited from qualified and eligible Graduates, Non-Engineering Graduates, and Diploma holders who have passed out in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 and belong to Karnataka State. A total of 200 apprenticeship positions are available across Engineering Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Non-Engineering categories. The training will be conducted for the year 2026-2027. Interested and eligible candidates can register and apply through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

Requisite Qualification:

  • Graduate Apprentices: BE/B.Tech in relevant branch from AICTE/State/Central Govt. recognized University/Institution.
  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: 3-year Diploma in relevant branch from recognized Polytechnic.
  • Non-Engineering Graduates: BA / B.Sc / B.Com / BBA / BCA from recognized University.

Other Eligibility Conditions:

  • Candidates must have passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
  • Minimum passing marks required.
  • Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training or have one year work experience are not eligible.
  • Age: Not less than 18 years (as per Apprenticeship Rules).
  • Candidates should have knowledge of reading and writing in Kannada language.
  • Only Karnataka State candidates are eligible.

Age Limit

As per Apprenticeship Rules, candidates must be not less than 18 years of age. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
