How to Apply

Candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 6th June 2026 (Saturday) at Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), DRDO, CV Raman Nagar, Bengaluru – 560093. There is no online application form on the GTRE/DRDO website. Prior registration on the respective portal (NATS or NAPS) is mandatory before attending the walk-in interview.

Candidates must report at the venue by 0900 hrs. They must bring the duly filled Registration Form (Annexure I) along with the Undertaking (Annexure II) in the prescribed format and all self-attested documents with original certificates for preliminary verification during the walk-in interview. No accommodation/transport/transport allowance will be provided by GTRE during the selection process or training.

  • PWD candidates are eligible only for designated trades as per Apprenticeship Rules.
  • Selected candidates must produce a valid police verification certificate at the time of joining from their place of last residence (for at least past one year) and permanent address.
  • Selected candidates must produce a Certificate of Physical Fitness in the prescribed format issued by an authorised Medical Officer of any Government Hospital.
  • Marks in the qualifying examination must be mentioned in percentage; candidates with CGPA must convert to percentage as per university/institute norms.
  • Selected candidates must be in a position to join on the prescribed date; failure to report by the scheduled date will be treated as disinterest and candidature may be forfeited.
  • Selected candidates must execute a contract for one year of training as per The Apprentices Act, 1961.
  • Canvassing/influencing in any form shall lead to disqualification.
  • This apprenticeship training does not carry any guarantee of employment at GTRE on completion.
  • No accommodation/transport/transport allowance will be provided by GTRE during selection or training.
  • GTRE reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies and to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process without assigning any reason.
