Post Details

ECIL invites applications for the following contract posts under Advertisement No. 08/2026. The initial contract is for 1 year, extendable up to 4 years based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Project Engineer (PE-C) & Technical Officer (TO-C): B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST).
• Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): Diploma in relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST).
• Senior Artisan (SA-C) & Junior Artisan (JA-C): ITI (Passed) in relevant trade.

Post-Qualification Experience

• PE-C: 3 years
• TO-C / APE-C / JA-C: 1 year
• SA-C: 2 years

Apprenticeship up to 1 year is considered as experience.

Age Limit

• Project Engineer (PE-C): Up to 33 years
• All other posts: Up to 30 years

Age Relaxation: OBC – 3 years; SC/ST – 5 years; PwBD (minimum 40% disability) – 10 years (additional); Ex-Servicemen & J&K domiciled candidates – as per rules.

Application Fee

There is no application fee for this walk-in recruitment. Candidates are required to bring the duly filled application form along with required documents to the venue.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must follow these steps to attend the walk-in selection:

1. Download the Application Form from the official website www.ecil.co.in.
2. Fill the form carefully and attach a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Prepare a set of self-attested photocopies of all required documents (educational certificates, experience certificates, caste certificate, ID proof, etc.).
4. Report at the walk-in venue on 28 April 2026 between 09:00 hrs and 11:30 hrs.
5. Submit the application form along with original documents for verification.
6. Appear for the Personal Interview (shortlisted candidates only).
