Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It is a premier institute dedicated to education, training, and research in footwear, leather goods, and fashion design. FDDI aims to produce skilled professionals for the global footwear and leather industry.

Post Details

FDDI invites applications for the position of Junior Faculty on a temporary basis at its Jodhpur campus. The posts are distributed across three schools as per the table below.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and experience requirements as per the post:

• Junior Faculty (School of RFM - MBA): Master’s Degree (min. 2 years) or PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in Management (RFM, Data Science & Business Analytics, HRM, SCM, Global Luxury Brand Mgmt.) with 55% marks. Desirable: Doctoral Degree. Experience: 3 years academic/industry in Management.
• Junior Faculty (School of RFM - BBA): Master’s Degree or PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in Management/SCM/Retail Operations/Retail & IT Operations/Operations Management with specialization in Retail & Fashion Merchandise with 55% marks. Preference: Doctoral Degree. Experience: 3 years in relevant field.
• Junior Faculty (School of LGAD): Master’s Degree or PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in Design/Leather Design/Product Design/Manufacturing Leather goods & Accessories with 55% marks. OR Master’s Degree in any field with Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (min. 3 years) in Design/Leather Design/Product Design with 55% marks. Experience: 3 years in leather goods.
• Junior Faculty (School of Footwear Design & Production): Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (2 years) + 1 year diploma in Footwear manufacturing/production with 55% marks. OR Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Footwear Technology with specialization in Design with 55% marks. Experience: 3 years in Design.

Age Limit

• General: 35 years
• OBC: 38 years
• SC/ST: 40 years
• PWD: 45 years
