The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the provisional answer keys for the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2026. How to Download GAT B and BET 2026 Answer Key

Follow these steps to access the provisional answer key and response sheet:

  1. Visit the official GAT B/BET portal at exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet.
  2. Click on the link titled “Display of Provisional Answer Key(s) and Question Papers with Recorded Responses - GAT B and BET 2026”.
  3. You will be redirected to the NTA Examination Services candidate login page.
  4. Enter your Application Number and Password / Date of Birth.

How to Calculate Marks Using the Answer Key

  3. For each correct response, add the designated marks; for incorrect ones, deduct as per the scheme.

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can file objections online. The challenge window is open from 23 May 2026 to 24 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). Follow these steps:

  1. Go to exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet and click on the “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key” link.
  2. Log in using your application number and password/date of birth.
  3. Select the exam (GAT B or BET) and view the question IDs and option IDs.

  5. Upload supporting documents in a single PDF file (max 500 KB as per NTA guidelines).
  6. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
  7. Submit and ensure payment before the deadline. Challenges without payment will not be considered.

NTA will review all valid challenges and release the final answer key, which will be used for result preparation. The decision of NTA is final.
