GMRC invites applications for various posts on Contract, Deputation, or Post-Superannuation basis for its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) division in Surat. The positions range from General Manager to Section Engineer across multiple engineering disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a graduate engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant disciplines from a government-recognized university/institute, along with the required post-qualification experience as specified for each post. Key requirements include:
- General Manager (Traction): Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with 10+ years experience.
- Deputy General Manager: Relevant discipline with 10+ years experience.
- Assistant Manager: Relevant discipline with 7+ years experience.
- Supervisor/Section Engineer: Relevant discipline with 5+ years experience.
Age Limit
Age limits vary by post and mode of appointment:
- General Manager: Contract – 57 years; Deputation – 58 years; Post-superannuation – 62 years.
- Deputy General Manager: Contract – 45 years; Deputation – 58 years; Post-superannuation – 62 years.
- Assistant Manager: Contract – 35 years.
- Supervisor/Section Engineer: Contract – 32 years.
