Organization Overview

The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRCL) Limited is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, responsible for implementing metro rail projects in Ahmedabad and Surat. Post Details

The recruitment drive covers three categories of non-executive posts: Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO), Junior Engineer (JE), and Maintainer (MNTR). A total of 383 vacancies are distributed as per the table below.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Station Controller/Train Operator & Junior Engineer: Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline. Candidates with a Degree in the same discipline are also eligible.
• Maintainer Posts: SSLC pass with Two Years ITI in relevant trade (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics).

Medical Standards

Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards (A-1 / A-3 / B-1 category) as per Indian Railway Medical Manual.

Age Limit

Age as on the date of advertisement:

• Station Controller/Train Operator & Junior Engineer: 18 to 28 Years
• Maintainer: 18 to 25 Years

Age Relaxation

• SEBC, EWS, SC & ST Male (Gujarat origin): 5 years
• SEBC, EWS, SC & ST Women (Gujarat origin): 10 years
• Women (Unreserved): 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Length of service + 3 years (max up to 45 years)

Selection Process
