Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech or M.Sc Computer Science in notified engineering streams from a recognized university/institution. Final year students whose results will be declared by 01 January 2027 are also eligible to apply.

| Note (Final Year Candidates) | ALL final year appearing candidates whose final year/final semester exam result will be declared AFTER 01 Jan 2027 are NOT eligible to apply. Final semester studying candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in SSB subject to their cumulative percentage of marks upto 6th semester/3rd year not being below the approved cut-off percentage. |

Selection Process
The selection process includes shortlisting of applications, SSB interview, medical examination, and merit list.
Stage 1 - Shortlisting of Applications

Stage 3 - Medical Examination
| Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo Medical Examination. The validity of SSB medical examination is 270 days (SMB to PCTA joining date). Proceedings of Medical Board are confidential. |
Stage 4 - Merit List & Joining Letter

Tie-break 2: Higher percentage of marks in degree (as per Para 3). Higher educational qualifications, previous performances etc. have no role. Pay & Promotion Structure
During training, a stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month is provided. Upon commissioning as Lieutenant, the pay scale is Level 10 (Rs. 56,100–1,77,500) with an approximate CTC of Rs. 17–18 Lakh per annum.
