Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination (Class 10) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board of School Education. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate substantial musical proficiency and practical skills on specific instruments.

Musical Requirements

Applicants should possess accuracy in tempo, pitch, and the ability to sing a complete song. Practical expertise on musical instruments such as keyboard, string, or wind instruments of Indian or foreign origin is mandatory. Proficiency must be demonstrated through certificates from recognized institutions or participation in musical events.

Physical Standards

Minimum height requirement is 157 cm for both male and female candidates. Visual standards must be 6/12, 6/12 (uncorrected) or 6/6, 6/6 (corrected) with CP pass.

Candidates must be born between 01 July 2004 and 31 December 2008 (both dates inclusive). Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply. Agniveers are not permitted to marry during their four-year service tenure.
