Post Details

The recruitment is for 07 posts of Football Players in the Assistant Banking Associate (ABA) and Banking Attendant (BAT) cadres. Selected candidates will be part of the J&K Bank Football Team and will also perform banking duties as per their cadre.

• Performance of candidates in the previous two years will be given preference.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of Selection Trials followed by Interview conducted by the Sports Board of the Bank. The recruitment is mainly based on sports qualifications with suitable weightage given to age and performance in the previous two years.

1. Selection Trials: Candidates possessing requisite qualifications will be called for selection trials.
2. Interview: Candidates who qualify in trials will be called for interview at Jammu and/or Srinagar.
3. Merit List: Based on marks obtained, a merit list will be prepared in descending order.
4. Final Selection: Made on the basis of merit list up to the number of vacancies.

In case of equal marks, the younger candidate (by date of birth) will be placed higher in the merit list.
