Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result 2026 Declared

The wait is finally over for medical and dental aspirants in Karnataka. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially declared the Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result on 25 October 2026. This crucial announcement marks the culmination of the stray vacancy round for MBBS and BDS admissions in the state for the academic year 2026.

According to the official final allotment PDF, a total of 25 candidates have been successfully allotted seats. This includes 13 candidates allotted seats in MBBS programs and 12 candidates in BDS programs. Candidates who participated in this round can now check their allotment status by downloading the official PDF from the KEA website. The result contains vital details such as the candidate's All India Rank (AIR), the allotted college, the specific course, and the category under which the seat has been allotted.

This result is particularly significant for candidates who were hoping for a final opportunity to secure a seat in government or private medical colleges across Karnataka. The KEA has conducted this stray round to fill the remaining vacancies after the previous rounds of counselling. With the declaration of this result, the focus now shifts to the reporting process, which is scheduled to begin on 26 October 2026. Candidates must act swiftly to complete their admission formalities to avoid losing their allotted seats.

Overview of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Selection

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is the nodal agency responsible for conducting the undergraduate medical and dental counselling based on NEET UG scores. The counselling process for 2026 has been rigorous, with multiple rounds including the recently concluded Stray Vacancy Round 2. This round is typically the last opportunity for candidates to secure a seat in the state quota.

The selection process for these seats is strictly based on the NEET UG 2026 All India Rank, followed by the choices filled by the candidates during the option entry process. The KEA has released the final allotment list after considering all preferences and seat availability. The overview of the counselling and result is provided in the table below for quick reference.

The table above summarizes the key details of the counselling round. It is essential for candidates to note that the allotment is provisional and subject to verification of documents and fulfillment of eligibility criteria as per KEA norms. The authority has also announced an extended stray round for any remaining seats, with specific deadlines for option entry and reporting.

Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result Merit List & Qualified Candidates

The Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result is essentially a merit list of candidates who have been allotted seats based on their NEET UG ranks and the choices they submitted. Unlike a traditional merit list that ranks all candidates, this allotment list directly indicates the college and course assigned to each qualified candidate. The list is compiled in a PDF format that includes the candidate's rank, name (often abbreviated), allotted college, course, and category.

For this round, a total of 25 candidates have been allotted seats. Out of these, 13 are for MBBS and 12 for BDS. This distribution reflects the availability of seats in the stray round, which are typically the leftover seats from previous rounds. Candidates who find their rank in the PDF are considered provisionally allotted and must proceed with the reporting formalities. The KEA has emphasized that the allotment is strictly based on merit and the rule of reservation.

The merit list for this round is relatively short, as it is a stray vacancy round. However, it is crucial for candidates to verify their details carefully. Any discrepancy in the rank or category should be immediately brought to the notice of the KEA. The allotment list also includes the fee details for each allotted seat, which candidates must pay to confirm their admission. The KEA has also released a separate notice for the extended stray round, which will be conducted for any seats that remain vacant after this round.

Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result Cut-Off Marks

The Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result does not explicitly publish cut-off marks in the traditional sense, as the allotment is based on the actual ranks of candidates who participated. However, the closing rank for each college and course can be inferred from the last allotted candidate in that category. The cut-off marks are essentially the NEET UG scores corresponding to the All India Ranks of the allotted candidates.

Given the limited number of seats (25 in total), the cut-off for this round is expected to be competitive. The cut-off varies significantly across colleges, courses, and categories. For instance, government medical colleges typically have higher cut-offs compared to private colleges. Similarly, MBBS cut-offs are generally higher than BDS. Candidates can refer to the official allotment PDF to see the rank of the last allotted candidate in their respective category to get an idea of the cut-off.

Below is a table summarizing the indicative cut-off ranks based on the allotment data. Please note that these are approximate and derived from the ranks of allotted candidates.

Candidates should remember that these are not official cut-offs but are indicative based on the current allotment. The actual cut-off for future rounds may vary depending on the number of seats and applicants.

Post-Result Procedure & Next Phases

Once the Karnataka UGNEET Stray Round 2 Allotment Result is declared, the next critical step for allotted candidates is to report to their respective colleges. The reporting date is scheduled for 26 October 2026. Candidates must complete the admission formalities, including fee payment and document verification, within the stipulated time. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

The KEA has also announced an extended stray round for any seats that remain vacant after this round. The notice for the extended round was released on 25 October 2026. Candidates who are eligible and interested in participating in the extended round must complete the option entry by 26 October 2026, 10:30 AM. The seat allotment for the extended round will be done after the option entry, and the reporting deadline for the extended round is 26 October 2026, 6:00 PM.

It is essential for candidates to regularly check the official KEA website for updates on the extended round and any other important announcements. The KEA will publish the remaining seat list and further instructions on its portal. Candidates are advised to keep their documents ready and follow the instructions carefully to avoid any last-minute hassles.
