A total of 72 training seats have been announced across 6 trades. Vacancies are distributed across SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and General categories. The number of vacancies is provisional and may be revised during the review process. If sufficient candidates are not available in SC/ST/ST categories, the vacancies of those categories may be interchanged, and if still vacant, filled from other categories. Vacancies arising from time to time during the year may also be filled through this advertisement.

Age is calculated as on 01-01-2026. Minimum age for all categories is 18 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is available for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwBD (Divyang) candidates.

MPEZ Graduate & Technical Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 - Selection Process

Selection will be purely merit-based on aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma examination. No written test is conducted. A waiting list will be maintained and may be used to fill vacancies as they arise. The waiting list will remain valid for one year from the date of announcement of the first result.

Stage 1 - Screening & Merit List

Applications received up to the last date will be screened for eligibility as per the advertisement. Candidates will then be ranked in order of merit (descending order of aggregate percentage in B.E/B.Tech/B.Com/Diploma). In case of a tie in marks, the candidate who is older in age will be given priority. If required, selection will also be made from the waiting list.

Stage 2 - NATS Registration Approval Verification

The date of passing the qualifying examination on the NATS portal must not be more than 5 years before the date of NATS registration approval. If NATS registration is not approved, the candidate's selection will be cancelled. Candidates must also submit a Declaration Form in the prescribed format confirming that less than 5 years have passed since obtaining the Degree/Diploma (between 2022 and 2026).

Stage 3 - Medical Examination

Final selection of any eligible candidate is subject to a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the District Medical Officer (CMO). PwBD (Divyang) candidates must submit a Disability Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the authorized authority or District Medical Board. Reservation for PwBD is applicable as per State Government rules for non-hazardous trades; hazardous trades are excluded from PwBD reservation.

Stipend is payable as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. No other allowances or benefits are admissible beyond the stipend.

Selected candidates will be deputed for training at the following offices/locations of MPEZ across Madhya Pradesh. Candidates must complete full training at the assigned location and will not be transferred to other locations during the training period.

Important Instructions for MPEZ Graduate & Technical Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Candidates

• THIS IS NOT REGULAR EMPLOYMENT. This advertisement is for apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act 1961, Section 22(1). MPEZ is not obligated to offer any employment after completion of training. Regular/contractual recruitment at MPEZ will not carry any reservation benefit related to this apprenticeship.
• Vacancies are only for Madhya Pradesh domicile (Mool Niwasi) candidates. Applications from non-MP domicile candidates will be rejected.
• Candidates must apply for only ONE trade/branch. Applications with more than one trade selected will be cancelled.
• NATS portal registration with 100% completed profile and a valid Apprentice Registration Number is mandatory before applying.
• The date of passing the qualifying examination must not be more than 5 years from the NATS registration approval date; if NATS registration is not approved, the selection will be cancelled.
• Candidates who have previously completed apprenticeship training in the same trade at MPEZ or any other organization cannot apply again for the same trade.
• If any candidate is found to have concealed or provided incorrect information at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and legal action may be taken.
• SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwBD candidates must carefully fill in their category; no category change will be permitted after submission.
• During the training period, selected candidates will be entitled to 13 days casual leave, 15 days medical leave, and weekly and national holidays.
• In case of an accident, the Employee Compensation Act, 1923 (Karmachari Kshatipurti Niyam 1923) will be applicable.
• Candidates who do not join within the specified time will have their selection treated as automatically cancelled.
• MPEZ reserves the right to cancel/limit/extend the selection process without prior notice or providing any reason.
• All legal and judicial matters related to this advertisement and recruitment will be under the jurisdiction of Jabalpur courts only.
