The recruitment drive aims to fill 93 vacancies across four posts: Stenographer Grade-III, Process Server, Peon, and Copyist. These are Group-C positions in the Mysuru District Judicial Unit.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Stenographer Grade-III: PUC / 12th or equivalent + Senior Grade Typewriting & Shorthand (Kannada & English) or 3 years Diploma in Commercial Practice.
• Copyist: PUC / 12th or equivalent + Junior Grade Typewriting (Kannada & English).
• Process Server & Peon: SSLC / 10th or equivalent.

Computer Knowledge: Knowledge of computer operation is essential for all posts.

Age Limit

Age as on the last date of application (31 May 2026):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age:
  • General: 40 years
  • Cat-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 43 years
  • SC/ST/Category-1: 45 years

Age Relaxation: Additional 5 years relaxation (one-time measure) as per Government Order & High Court directions (valid up to 31.12.2027). Further relaxations applicable for Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Widows, etc.

For Process Server:

• General: Rs. 300/-

• SC/ST/Category-1/PH: Nil

For Peon:

• General: Rs. 200/-
• Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: Rs. 100/-
• SC/ST/Category-1/PH: Nil

For Copyist:

• General: Rs. 300/-
• Category-1: Nil

Mode of Payment: Online (State Bank Collect). Fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

• Stenographer Grade-III & Copyist: Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing) + Computer Test + Interview (5% weightage).
• Process Server & Peon: Merit based on SSLC marks + Interview (10 marks).

Selected candidates will be appointed under New Pension Scheme (NPS) and will be on 2 years probation.
