Post Details & Vacancy Summary

NIPER Hajipur invites applications for the following contractual positions under the HTAIn-TRC project. The table below provides the post-wise vacancy distribution.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience as per the post applied for:

• Health Economist (Scientist C): Masters in Health Economics/Economics/Public Health/Community Medicine with specialization in Healthcare Costing and Economic Evaluation.
• Scientist D (Medical/Non-Medical): Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MPH) after MBBS with 6 years research experience; OR MBBS with 8 years experience; OR Ph.D. in relevant subject with 5 years experience. Plus 2 years in R&D project management.
• Scientist C (Medical/Non-Medical): Medical: MBBS with 6 years experience or PG Diploma with 5 years or PG Degree with 4 years. Non-Medical: Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 5 years experience; OR First Class MPH/Pharm D/Master’s with 8 years experience; OR Second Class M.Sc/MPH+Ph.D. with 8 years experience. Plus 2 years in R&D project management.
• Administrative Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years experience in government/autonomous bodies; OR Retired Officer of rank Section Officer/Under Secretary.
• Field Officer & Field Investigator: Graduate in Science with 3 years experience; OR Master’s degree in relevant subject; OR Pharm D.

Age Limit

The age limit varies by post as detailed below. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and government servants as per rules.

• Health Economist (Scientist C): Maximum 40 years
• Scientist D: Maximum 45 years
• Scientist C: Maximum 40 years
• Administrative Officer: Maximum 50 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC and government servants)
• Field Officer & Field Investigator: Maximum 35 years

Salary / Stipend

The selected candidates will receive a competitive monthly salary as per the following structure:

• Health Economist (Scientist C): Rs. 67,000/- + HRA
• Scientist D: Rs. 78,000/- + HRA
• Scientist C: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA
• Administrative Officer: Rs. 40,000/- per month
• Field Officer: Rs. 25,000 – 30,000/- per month
• Field Investigator: Rs. 30,000 – 32,000/- per month
