About The Nagaland Public Service Commission

The Nagaland Public Service Commission is the constitutional body responsible for conducting civil services examinations and recruiting candidates for various state government departments. The Common Educational Services Examination (CESE) is a flagship recruitment drive conducted by the commission to fill vacancies in the educational services sector. This examination is designed to select qualified individuals for teaching and administrative roles within the state's education department. The CESE is known for its rigorous selection process, which includes a written examination followed by interviews or personality tests.

The release of the answer key is a critical component of this examination cycle. It serves as a benchmark for candidates to evaluate their performance before the final results are declared. The commission had previously released a provisional answer key on 12th August 2026. However, following a review process, the commission identified discrepancies or necessary corrections in eight subjects. Consequently, the NPSC CESE Answer Key Out notification dated 16th September 2026 was issued to provide the corrected versions. This demonstrates the commission's commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination and ensuring that no candidate is disadvantaged due to errors in the preliminary key.

The Nagaland Public Service Commission NPSC Recruitment 2026 Key Paper & Objection Window

Understanding the timeline and the specifics of the answer key release is vital for all aspirants. The original answer key was published on 12th August 2026, allowing candidates an initial window to review their answers. Following this, the commission released a corrected answer key on 16th September 2026. This corrected version is specifically for eight subjects where revisions were deemed necessary. Candidates must note that the NPSC CESE Answer Key Out is the final authority for scoring, and the previous version should be disregarded for the corrected subjects.

Regarding the objection window, the official notification regarding the corrected key does not explicitly mention a new window for raising objections against the revised answers. Typically, objection windows are provided when the provisional key is released. Since this is a corrected key issued after a review, it is likely considered final. However, candidates are advised to carefully read the official PDF for any specific instructions regarding challenges. If the notification allows for further representations, candidates must submit them within the stipulated time frame, which is usually very short. It is crucial to rely only on the official NPSC CESE Answer Key Out PDF for accurate information rather than unverified sources.

How to Challenge Answer Key

Challenging an answer key is a standard provision in most competitive examinations, allowing candidates to dispute incorrect answers. However, in the case of the NPSC CESE Answer Key (Corrected Version), the process might differ from the initial provisional release. The official notification does not explicitly state a new challenge window for this corrected key. Usually, when a corrected key is issued, it is treated as the final key unless specified otherwise. Candidates who still have concerns regarding specific questions should first refer to the detailed notification PDF to check if a representation window is mentioned.

If the commission permits challenges, candidates typically need to submit a written representation to the commission's office. This representation must include valid proof or reference from standard textbooks or authoritative sources supporting the claim. It is important to note that challenges are usually accepted only in a prescribed format and within a specific timeframe. Since the notification for the corrected key is silent on this matter, candidates are advised to focus on the available information and prepare for the next stages of the recruitment process. Keep checking the official website for any updates regarding the objection process or result declaration.
