Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Senior Residents (Medical Departments): MBBS or equivalent qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 schedules. Valid registration with Central/State Medical Council. MD/MS in the specialty concerned from an MCI-recognized university.

For Senior Residents (OHSC/Dental): Recognized dental qualification under the Dentists Act, 1948. Valid registration with Central/State Dental Council. MDS in the specialty concerned.

For Senior Demonstrators (Non-Medical): Relevant M.Sc./M.A./MPH + Ph.D. in the subject concerned.

For Junior Demonstrators: M.A./M.Sc. in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, MPH, Health Promotion, Health Education, Sociology, or Psychology as applicable.

Note: Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency in a particular discipline or have obtained DM/M.Ch. are not eligible. A valid pass certificate must be in hand on or before 30.06.2026.

The selection process consists of two stages for a total of 100 marks:

Stage 1 - Computer Based Test (CBT): 75 Marks

Senior Demonstrators (Medical) also receive Level-11 pay scale (minimum Rs. 67,700/- + NPA), while Senior Demonstrators (Non-Medical) get Level-10 pay scale (minimum Rs. 56,100/-). Junior Demonstrators are placed at Level-6 with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 35,400/-.
