Post Details

The recruitment drive aims to fill 4 contractual positions for Subject Matter Specialist – Seagrass. The posts are divided into two specializations: Plant Specialist and Marine Biologist. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 50,000/-.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

• SMS – Seagrass (Plant Specialist): M.Sc. in Botany / Life Science / Environmental Science / Coastal Ecology. Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in marine ecology, seagrass ecology, wetland ecosystems, coastal habitat restoration or related field. Desirable: Knowledge of GIS / Remote Sensing.
• SMS – Seagrass (Marine Biologist): M.Sc. / M.Tech in Oceanography / Marine Science from a recognized University. Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in life science / marine science field. Preference: experience in marine ecology, seagrass ecosystem studies / implementation.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 23 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Age relaxation will be as per government rules.
