Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) – Overview

RLDA is a statutory body under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, responsible for developing vacant railway land for commercial use. The authority invites applications from Indian Nationals for the engagement of Site Engineers on a contract basis for its projects across India. The engagement is initially for up to one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements. This is a purely contractual engagement and does not confer any right to regular employment.

RLDA is recruiting for the following positions under Vacancy Notice No. 13/26/S.E. Contract:

• Site Engineer (Civil) – 30 posts
• Site Engineer (Electrical) – 10 posts

The selected candidates will be placed at various project sites across India. The salary is fixed at Rs. 76,000 per month (all inclusive).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements as on 22 May 2026:

Age Limit

As on 22 May 2026, the maximum age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following criteria: Last Drawn Gross Salary, Relevant Work Experience, Percentage in B.Tech, and Interview. Extra weightage will be given for M.Tech and experience in Indian Railways/Central PSU/State PSU/Government Departments.
