THSTI is inviting applications for two distinct positions: Research Assistant and Staff Nurse. Eligibility Criteria

Research Assistant

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications: BSc (Nursing) from a recognized university; OR Standard 12th and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse or ANM; OR Nursing "A" Certificate with three years' experience in a hospital; OR Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces. Desirable qualifications include two years' work experience in Obstetrics, Midwifery, Neonatology, or Nursery departments, along with computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Staff Nurse

Applicants must have completed Standard 12th and hold a Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent, along with registration as a nurse or ANM with any state nursing council. Desirable experience includes clinical research in maternal and child health domains, performing anthropometry for mothers and/or children, and familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all posts is 35 years as of the interview date. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: SC/ST candidates receive 5 years, OBC candidates receive 3 years, PwBD candidates receive 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST categories. Ex-servicemen are eligible for relaxation equivalent to their service duration plus 3 years, while Central Government servants may receive up to 5 years relaxation.
