Chandigarh Police ASI Selection Process: Candidates applying for the Assistant Sub Inspector post will be selected through the following stages:
- Two Tier Examination
- Physical Efficiency/Physical Standard Test
- Medical Test

Chandigarh Police ASI Exam Pattern: The Chandigarh Police ASI Exam Pattern consists of two tiers as mentioned below:
- There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- The Tier 1 exam is OMR-based and Tier 2 is a Written exam
- The minimum qualifying mark in the Tier 1 exam is 33% for all categories.
- Tier 2 copies of those candidates will be checked who qualify for the Tier 1 Exam
- The medium of exam is English, Hindi, and Punjabi languages
