The following steps will be involved in choosing candidates for the Chandigarh Police Constable Selection Process 2023 :

Chandigarh Police Constable Selection Process 2023: Written Exam
The written test, which carries 100 marks, is the first step in the hiring process. Review the information below:
- The written test will use OMR technology and include multiple-choice questions.
- Each incorrect response will receive a negative marking of 0.25 points.
- The Written Test’s question bank will be in Punjabi, English, and Hindi.
Chandigarh Police Constable Selection Process 2023: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
The PMT will be conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidates. The PMT will consist of the following tests:
- Height: 170 cm for male candidates and 157.5 cm for female candidates.
- Relaxable for Residents of notified Hill Areas: by 5 cm
- Relaxable for Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cm
- Chest: 84-88 cm for male candidates
- Relaxable for Residents of notified Hill Areas: by 5 cm
- Relaxable for Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cm
Chandigarh Police Constable Selection Process 2023: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The candidate’s height and chest would be the first measurements taken. Candidates who don’t meet the requirements for height and chest will be eliminated right away. Only candidates who meet these requirements will be permitted to continue in PE&MT according to the following requirements:-
