Zero Discrimination Day- 01st March
It is an annual day celebrated on 1st March every year by the UN and other International Organizations. It aims to promote equality before the law and in practice throughout all of the member countries of the UN. The day was first celebrated on 01st March 2014 and was launched by UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe. The theme of Zero Discrimination Day for the year 2023 is “Save lives: Decriminalise“.
World Civil Defence Day – 01st March
World Civil Defence Day is annually observed across the globe on 1st March to honor the significance of Civil Defence and the personnel who have sacrificed their lives for it.
