Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Professor: MBBS + MD/MS (broad specialty) or DM/MCh (super-specialty) with 14 years of teaching experience.
• Additional Professor: MBBS + MD/MS/DM/MCh with 10 years of teaching experience.
• Associate Professor: MBBS + MD/MS/DM/MCh with 6 years of teaching experience.
• Assistant Professor: MBBS + MD/MS/DM/MCh with 3 years of teaching experience.

For non-medical disciplines (e.g., Biochemistry), a PhD in the relevant subject along with teaching/research experience is required.

Age Limit

• Professor / Additional Professor: Maximum 58 years.
• Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: Maximum 50 years.
• Retired faculty: Up to 70 years (on contract basis).
• Age relaxation: OBC – 3 years; SC/ST – 5 years; PwD – 10 years; Central Govt servants / Ex-servicemen – 5 years as per rules.

Selection Process
