Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

• Nursing Officer / Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with valid CG Nursing Council registration, OR GNM with valid CG Nursing Council registration.
• ANM: 12th passed + ANM trained + INC affiliated training centre + live registration in CG Nursing Registration Council.
• District Account Assistant: B.Com (minimum 55%) + 1-year Computer Diploma (PGDCA); Tally knowledge compulsory.
• City Accountant: M.Com (Regular, 50%) with Tally 9.0, OR B.Com (Regular, 50%) with Tally 9.0.
• Block Manager – Account: B.Com (minimum 55%) + 1-year Computer Diploma (PGDCA) + Tally knowledge.
• Secretarial Assistant / Jr. Sr. Secretary Assistant: 12th passed from recognized institution + 1-year Diploma in Computer Applications.
• Counselor: PG Degree / Diploma in Psychology / Counselling / Health Education / Mass Communication / Social Science.
• Radiographer: 12th (Science) + Radiographer/X-Ray Technician Paramedical course from CG Govt. recognized institution + valid CG Paramedical Council registration.
• MO – AYUSH: BHMS / BAMS / BUMS Degree with registration from GOI recognized Ayush/Homeo/Unani Registration Board.
• RMA: PMHM (Practitioner in Modern and Holistic Medicine) course passed and registered with Chhattisgarh Medical Board.
• Pharmacist: B.Pharma OR D.Pharma with valid CG Pharmacy Council registration.
• OT Technician: 12th (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) + OT Technician Paramedical course + valid CG Paramedical Council registration.
• Dental Assistant: Matriculation from recognized institution + 2 years experience in dental college/clinic (Govt. health facility preferred); preference for 1-year lab technician / dental technician course.
• Feeding Demonstrator: BSc Home Science.
• Physiotherapist: Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (B.P.T).
• Audiologist: Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) / B.Sc. (Speech and Hearing) from an RCI recognized institute.
• Community Health Officer: Certificate Course in Community Health (B.Sc. Nursing Community Health Integrated Course) with valid CG Nursing Council registration, OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Certificate in Community Health Integrated Course with valid CG Nursing Council registration.
• Social Worker (NMHP): M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work preferred; otherwise Master of Social Work (Regular) preferred.
• MPW (Male) – UHWC: 12th (Biology) + Multipurpose Health Worker training (1 year formal or equivalent) recognized by CG Govt. + valid CG Paramedical Council registration.
• Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS): Bachelor's Degree OR recognized Sanitary Inspector course + Computer Operation Certificate (minimum 2 months) + permanent two-wheeler driving licence.
• Attendant (HA/SA): 12th Pass.
• Class IV / Aya Bai / Cook cum Caretaker: 8th Pass.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years. Maximum Age: 70 years for medical posts; 64 years for managerial posts. Age is calculated as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Chhattisgarh government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process is entirely merit-based and conducted at the district level:

1. Initial Screening: Applications and attached documents will be verified. Eligible/ineligible candidate lists will be published on the official district website https://rajnandgaon.nic.in/
2. Evaluation Phase: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Written Test / Computer-Based Test / Clinical Skill-Based Test depending on the post.
3. Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score at least 30% (6 out of 20 marks) in the written/skill test to be eligible for appointment.
4. Final Merit List: Based on academic marks + experience marks + written/skill test marks combined.
5. Venue: Department of Emergency Medicine and Trauma, Office of the CMHO, District Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.
