Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

Stage 1 - Main Written Examination

The Main Examination comprises 2 papers (total 400 marks). Paper 1: Marathi (50 Qs, 100 marks) and English (50 Qs, 100 marks) - 12th standard level. Paper 2: General Studies and Intelligence Test (100 Qs, 200 marks) - graduation level. Both papers are objective multiple choice. Negative marking: 25% (1/4 mark) deducted per wrong answer. Duration: 1 hour each paper.

Stage 2 - Merit List and Preference Order (Lipik-Tanklekhak)

A General Merit List is prepared post-wise. For Lipik-Tanklekhak, candidates must re-submit Appointing Authority-wise preference order after the merit list is published.

Stage 3 - Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. Original documents along with self-attested photocopies must be produced. Failure to appear results in disqualification.

Stage 4 - Physical / Medical Examination (Duyyam Nirikshak Only)

Recommended candidates for Duyyam Nirikshak must meet physical standards and undergo medical examination.
