Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified the Group-C Combined Preliminary Examination 2025 (result declared on 04 May 2026). Educational qualifications must be held as on the last date of application (04 June 2026). Below are the detailed eligibility requirements:

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on 01 February 2026. Minimum age is 19 years for all candidates. Maximum age for General category is 38 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per Maharashtra Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

Stage 1 - Main Written Examination

The Main Examination comprises 2 papers (total 400 marks). Paper 1: Marathi (50 Qs, 100 marks) and English (50 Qs, 100 marks) - 12th standard level. Paper 2: General Studies and Intelligence Test (100 Qs, 200 marks) - graduation level. Both papers are objective multiple choice. Negative marking: 25% (1/4 mark) deducted per wrong answer.
