Post Details

The institute is inviting applications for the position of Principal Technical Officer (ICT) on a regular appointment basis. This role involves significant responsibilities in information and communication technology management, requiring extensive experience and technical expertise.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc./MCA Degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Application. The degree must be completed with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks) and demonstrate consistently excellent academic performance throughout the normal duration of the program.

Experience Requirements

Applicants need at least 15 years of experience as Scientific Officer/Technical Officer or equivalent positions, with a minimum of 8 years as Sr. Scientific Officer/Sr. Technical Officer in PB-3 with Grade Pay of ₹7600 or equivalent in Central/State Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Institutions of National Importance, or PSUs.

Additional technical expertise required includes hands-on experience with Spring Boot, MVC framework, Web Development, Java technologies, J2EE technologies (especially JSP, JDBC), full-stack web development technologies, HTML5, JSON, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and Bootstrap, web service tools, XML, and comprehensive knowledge of software development life cycles.

Candidates should also have experience in ERP development and implementation, web application security, open-source software for web development, website development (frontend and backend), Linux administration, database administration with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, cloud platforms (OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes), network administration, HPC, LAN and internet management, security systems, and learning management systems.

Age Limit
