Organization Overview

The Personnel Department, Divisional Railway Manager Office, Bilaspur under South East Central Railway (SECR) is conducting this recruitment drive for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1962. The training will be imparted in various trades at Bilaspur Division for the year 2026-27.

Post Details

The recruitment is for Act Apprentice (Trade Apprentice) positions in multiple trades. The apprenticeship period is 1 year for each trade. Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the rules of the State Government of Chhattisgarh during the training period.

Age Limit

Candidates should be between 15 to 24 years as on 11 June 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules. The date of birth range for different communities is given below:

Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Ex-Servicemen and PWD.

Application Fee

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a merit list prepared by taking the average of percentage marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI examination, with equal weightage to both.
