TG CPGET 2026 Notification Overview

The Telangana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TG CPGET) 2026 notification has been officially released. Conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of participating universities, TG CPGET is the gateway for admission into various PG and PG Diploma courses across Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, and other institutions. Online registration commenced on 15 May 2026.

Organization Overview

TG CPGET 2026 is a state-level entrance test organized jointly by Telangana universities. The participating universities include Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University, Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University, JNTUH, and Dr. Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences University. The exam is conducted for admission into PG and PG Diploma programmes.

Subject-wise Syllabus

The syllabus for TG CPGET 2026 is subject-specific and based on the qualifying degree (Bachelor’s level) for each PG programme. Candidates must refer to the official information brochure for detailed subject-wise topics. The exam tests knowledge in the chosen subject at the undergraduate level. For example, for M.A. English, syllabus includes English Literature, Grammar, and Criticism. For M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (Bachelor’s Degree) with minimum 40% marks (pass marks sufficient for SC/ST candidates).
