MPSC Departmental PSI Age Limit

Candidates belonging to the Amagas category have a maximum age limit of 35 years, while those from the Backward Class category must have a maximum age of up to 40 years. Age calculation will be based on the final application submission date, which is October 3, 2023, as specified in the advertisement.

MPSC Departmental PSI Qualification

  1. Individuals who are presently employed as Assistant Police Sub-Inspectors, Police Constables, Police Naiks, and Police Sepoys within the Home Department of the Maharashtra State Government are eligible to participate in this examination.
  2. Candidates holding a graduate degree from a recognized university must have completed a minimum of four years of continuous service to be eligible.
  3. In the case of candidates who have passed the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’s H.Sc. Exam or possess a qualification recognized by the Maharashtra Government as equivalent, they must have completed at least five years of continuous service to qualify.
