SSC CGL Selection Process 2022: Lakhs of candidates prepare for the SSC CGL exam as it is one of the golden opportunities for them to build a career in the insurance sector. All those candidates who are preparing for the SSC CGL Exam 2022 must be aware of the SSC CGL Selection Process 2022. SSC CGL 2022 Selection Process comprises multiple stages. The SSC CGL Exam is conducted in two stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. So today in this post, we have come up with the complete SSC CGL Selection Process 2022.

SSC CGL Selection Process 2022

  • Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
  • Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts whereas Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
  •  Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
  • Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions – Session–I & Session II, on the same day. Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section-III. Therefore, the duration of Session-I will be 2 hours and 15 minutes and the duration of Session-II will be 15 minutes only.

SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern

SSC CGL 2022 Tier-1 exam will be conducted online comprising 4 sections with 100 multiple choice questions in total and with maximum marks of 200.

The sections asked in SSC CGL Tier-I Exam are:

  2. General Awareness
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. English Comprehension

SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Pattern (Revised)

SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will be conducted in 3 phases- Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Paper III for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
