SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL posts, candidates are required to be within the limits of the following criteria. SSC CHSL Eligibility includes criteria for:

  1. Age Limit
  2. Nationality
  3. Educational Qualification

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2023: Nationality

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2023: Nationality: For the SSC CHSL Exam, candidates must possess certain citizenship of specified countries. SSC has mentioned it in detail in the official notification that the candidates belonging to the following countries can apply.

  1.  a citizen of India, or
  2.  a subject of Nepal, or
  3.  a subject of Bhutan, or
  4.  a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  5. Candidates belonging to categories (b), (c), and (d) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

SSC CHSL Age Limit 2023

SSC CHSL Age Limit 2023: Candidates who want to apply for the SSC CHSL post must be in the age group of 18-27 years. This is the minimum age criteria that the candidates must fit in. However, candidates belonging to the reserved category have been provided age relaxation as mentioned in the table below.

Central Government Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as of the closing date for receipt of online applications. Up to 40 years of age

Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried. Up to 35 years of age

SSC CHSL 2023 Educational Qualification

SSC CHSL 2023 Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for the post is a 12th pass or its equivalent from a recognized Educational Board. However, those who appeared for the 12th exam can also apply, provided that they produce the 12th certificate before the cut-off date.
