SSC CHSL 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC CHSL 2023 Notification and apply online link for various posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The online application begins on 9th May 2023 and candidates can submit their applications till 8th June 2023 on the SSC website @ssc.nic.in. SSC CHSL 2023 Apply Online
The SSC CHSL 2023 Apply online link will be activated by the officials just after the release of the official notification on the official website. SSC CHSL Application Fee
Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. The Challan form will be generated online. The candidates have to pay a non-refundable Application Fee for SSC CHSL 2023 as per the categories given below:
- For General/OBC, the application fee is Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female- No fees
SSC CHSL 2023 Eligibility Criteria
All the aspiring candidates who are dreaming of SSC CHSL 2023 will have to abide by all the Eligibility Criteria as decided by the SSC Commission. The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age, physical standards, etc., and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post(s) before applying. All the aspiring candidates of SSC CHSL 2023 have to abide by all the Eligibility Criteria decided by the Commission.
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification (04/01/2023)
The educational qualification varies according to the post candidate applying for. The educational qualification according to the vacancy applied is as follows:
(A) The basic requirement is a pass certificate in class 12th from a recognized board or university.
(B) For the post of DEO in the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG),
applicants must have studied science and mathematics as main subjects in Class 12th.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in their 12th standard can also apply provided they produce the educational qualification and the documentary evidence from the board/ university as of January 1st, 2023

Age Limit
- The age of candidates must be between 18 to 27 years.

SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Procedure
- SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Process is based on the result of all two tiers.
- Candidates need to qualify for each tier to appear in the subsequent tier.
- The final selection list is prepared by shortlisting applicants based on their cumulative performance across the first two tiers.
- After qualifying all three tiers the candidates will be called for the Document Verification.
- Candidates will be allotted to the various departments for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks, and Court Clerks based on their merit and preference of post.

Staff Selection Commission releases cut-off marks post-wise and category-wise along with the result. SSC CHSL 2023 Result
After declaring the provisional SSC CHSL Answer Key, the SSC declares the Result in a PDF format announcing the names of the candidates shortlisted for the next phase of the selection process. The SSC CHSL Result is released on the official website of SSC @ssc.nic.in & there will be no other mode of announcing the result.
SSC CHSL 2023 Resolution of Tie Cases
In the event of a tie in scores of candidates in Tier-I + Tier-II examinations, merit will be decided by applying the following criteria, one after another, till the tie is resolved:
- Total marks of the Tier-II Examination.
- Total marks in Tier-I Examination.
- Date of birth, with the older candidates, placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.
