Selection Process
The selection process for Haryana ADA 2026 consists of three stages:
- Screening Test: Objective MCQs (100 marks, 2 hours) – qualifying in nature with 25% cut-off. Shortlisting for Stage 2 is 10 times the vacancies.
- Subject Knowledge Test: Descriptive exam (150 marks, 3 hours) covering Civil and Criminal Law. This carries 87.5% weightage in final merit.
- Interview: Carries 12.5% weightage. Final merit is based on combined scores of Stage 2 and Stage 3.
Preparation Tips
- Focus on the new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023) as they are key for both Screening and Subject Knowledge Test.
- For Screening, balance General Studies (especially Haryana GK) with Law. Aim to attempt all law questions since they carry mandatory 50% weightage.
